The latest VEX IQ Foundation Class brought fresh energy to the robotics club as 25 new members completed the program. The course introduced students to the fundamentals of robotics, giving them a solid foundation to build upon.
Over several weeks, participants learned how to design, assemble, and program robots. Each session balanced technical knowledge with practical, hands-on experience, ensuring students could apply what they learned immediately.
By the end of the class, students showcased their creations in a friendly exhibition. Robots were tested on tasks such as moving objects, navigating simple mazes, and performing programmed sequences. Parents and mentors were impressed with the creativity and dedication shown by the new members.
The program also emphasized collaboration, encouraging students to work together to solve problems. This built not only technical skills but also friendships and teamwork that will serve them well in the competition arena.
With this class completed, many graduates are eager to join our competition teams. Their fresh enthusiasm and growing expertise will strengthen our club as we move into a new season of innovation and learning.
